Paula Dias is chemical engineer and co-founder of HyCarb, a spin-off from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) pioneering catalytic methane splitting technology. Paula helped transform 15+ years of research at FEUP into a startup offering renewable hydrogen and high-value graphitic carbon. Currently, she is a permanent assistant researcher at LEPABE and coordinates EIC Transition project ZeroCarb, driving science to innovation and commercialization.
