Diogo Rato is the Executive Director of the Portuguese Game Developer Association (APVP) and Co-Founder of Testwaves, a startup providing innovative Testing solutions for Game Studios. He holds a Ph.D. in AI and Games from Instituto Superior Técnico, specializing in social cognition and procedural content generation. Having founded and led multiple non-profit ventures to boost the Portuguese game development scene, Diogo bridges technical research, growth and ecosystem building.
