With over 20 years in the energy sector, Manuel holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (IST) and executive education from Católica, AESE, and INSEAD. After roles in Sales, Marketing, and CSR, he is now Head of Open Innovation at Galp. He recently launched Upcoming Energies, an open innovation platform designed to accelerate the ecosystem and tackle the energy transition. His mission is to build a strategic portfolio of opportunities, driving Galp toward decarbonization through disruptive innovation and solving key industry pain points.
