Hugo Augusto is the CEO of Semapa Next, leading Series A investments in European companies with global potential. He holds an MBA from Kellogg and previously co-founded an EdTech startup in the U.S. that was acquired in 2016. He later became Managing Director of Techstars Lisbon, investing in 20 early-stage startups, and serves on boards of companies that scaled from Series A to Series C. He has also taught Entrepreneurship at Católica-Lisbon.
